BOSS® 850 Cultured Marble & Solid Surface 100% RTV Silicone
is a one-part, fungicidal, silicone rubber sealant and adhesive. It is
designed to be used for sealing cultured marble, natural marble,
granite and stone.
BOSS® 850 is ideal for sealing marble panels,
countertops, sinks, plumbing fixtures, back splashes and cultured
marble tub surrounds. It remains flexible and will not lose its bond
to the substrate. Outperforms all solvent based adhesives.
BOSS® 850 Cultured Marble & Solid Surface 100% RTV Silicone:
Resists mildew even in prolonged hot and humid environments
Resists staining, spotting and color change
Remains flexible will not shrink, crack, crumble or dry out
Stays bright and clean
Is ready-to-use as supplied
Adheres to many nonporous surfaces such as porcelain, painted
areas and glass without the use of a primer
BOSS® 850 Cultured Marble & Solid Surface 100% RTV Silicone
is mildew resistant. It is used for such nonporous surface
applications as:
Sealing around shower-tub enclosures, tubs, sinks and
around urinals
Sealing around bathroom fixtures
Waterproofing rimless sinks
Ceramic tile grouting
Seals cultured marble or natural stone and granite seams
Excellent for sealing back splashes in bathrooms or kitchens

At room temperature, hot melt glue sticks
are in solid form and as they are applied
to the surface of a material they turn into
molten form. When cooled to a temperature
below its melting point, hot melt glue results
in a strong bond that is guaranteed to last.
In fact, hot glue is as permanent as epoxy
glue and it is suitable in applications
where epoxy is not. Consequently, it is
important to note that hot melt adhesives
should not be used to glue something that
you may want to remove later on.
Additionally, due to their
heat sensitive nature, hot melt adhesives
are generally not suitable for use in high-temperature
environments or with heat-sensitive substrates.
But as with any adhesive, there is usually
one that will outperform another in a given
application. Hot melt glue sticks used in
adhesive application equipment generate
minimal waste and have relatively small
environmental impact, making this method
of adhesive application ideal for many customers.
